The Buzzards has an active PHRF racing and cruising fleet.
The Buzzards helps runs the Old Sigh Race Series at 6pm on Wednesday nights. The 2020 schedule starts on July 1 and runs until September 2. There are three classes: Racing (spinnakers), Cruising I and Cruising II. Please go to

The Buzzards will also be hosting a Buzzards Bay Trophy Race on August 15th. This is a round the buoys PHRF race with a 12 Noon Pursuit start based upon PHRF handicaps. This race is one of a six race series competing for the Buzzards Bay Trophy. Other host yacht clubs that run a race include Beverly, Quissett, Mattapoisett and New Bedford. The Big Boat Cruise will be held on August 30 and 31.This is a two night cruise starting in Hadley’s Harbor on Sunday night and going to another harbor for the second night depending on wind and weather. For more details contact Fred Eustis (
